Padgett Watkinsville

Kendall has called Athens/Oconee “home” for over twenty years after having lived in many states throughout the Southeast. She attended the University of South Carolina where she studied marketing and elementary education. Prior to joining PBS, Kendall worked in the hospitality industry in Sales and Catering. When moving to Oconee, Kendall worked as a branch manager with Oconee State Bank before working with Oconee County Schools in bookkeeping. She has two sons and loves to spend time with them.

Justin is native to Watkinsville, Georgia and graduate from Oconee County High School. Secondary education includes BBA with a Minor in Finance from Georgia Southern University. Justin previously operated a chain of Family-Owned Independent Grocery Stores for 6 years before joining Padgett Business Services. He is now seeking his Enrolled Agent Certification. Justin is married to his beautiful wife, Jori, and loves spending time with her and their two dogs at home. Justin is dedicated to exceeding his clients’ needs and expectations every day.

Jim Morrell is a graduate of the University of Georgia. After the completion of a master’s degree in leadership, he joined the Padgett team in 1999 with the Gainesville, GA. office. Jim was recognized in 1999 by Padgett having received multiple growth awards. In 2002, he became a partner in the Watkinsville, GA. office. December 2023, he became the sole owner and operator of Watkinsville, GA. office.

Jim is an Enrolled Agent with all the rights and privileges granted by the Internal Revenue Service. This designation allows Jim to practice and represent clients before government agencies. Jim attends professional seminars to maintain the credentials throughout each year and gain the knowledge to understand the ever changing tax codes and regulations.

Jim has always enjoyed sports, most especially watching college football, and officiating high school football for the past 26 years. He was a high school teacher and coach before his career path turned to accounting. He has also, in the past, owned and operated several independent grocery stores in the Georgia community. In his spare time now, he enjoys time on Lake Hartwell with friends and his son and daughter and their families, as well as a good round of golf.
